Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Charriot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jasper Corpuz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Corpuz has chosen Smoke two joints - Sublime as his entrance music. Jasper Corpuz is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corpuz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Charriot's waist but Charriot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Corpuz off to one side.
Jasper Corpuz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Corpuz drives through and clinches with Charriot against the cage.

Corpuz turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Corpuz wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Charriot, who protects the arm well.
Charriot is looking to reverse the position.

Corpuz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Corpuz tries to move into full mount but can't pass Charriot's legs.
Charriot is trying to control Corpuz's posture but Corpuz avoids it.

Corpuz looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Corpuz is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Charriot has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Charriot's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Corpuz is looking to take a break and control but Charriot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Corpuz tries for a kimura but Charriot is defending well.

Charriot tries to improve position but can't.
Charriot manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Charriot is just content to waste time from the top position. Corpuz takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Charriot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Charriot trying to control the position from guard on top but Corpuz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Charriot would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Charriot wants to control from the top but Corpuz keeps moving.
Charriot has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Corpuz pulls Charriot in close to prevent any damage.
Charriot will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We're going to have a standup here because Steve Charriot wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Corpuz drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Corpuz has an Americana. Charriot didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Corpuz is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Corpuz hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
