Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyce shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts prevost as he jumps to the side.
prevost is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Boyce.
Boyce misses with a straight left.
Boyce misses the shot to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Boyce.
Boyce looks for a takedown but prevost sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brodie Boyce. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boyce shoots for a takedown but prevost saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Boyce stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from prevost.
The fight stays on the outside here - Boyce looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Boyce darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

prevost is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Boyce wants to stand but prevost is controlling his posture from full guard.

prevost wants to sweep here but Boyce controlling him for the moment.

prevost had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Boyce is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. prevost Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Boyce's back instead.
You can see the frustration on Boyce's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Boyce has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
