Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Percy Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Happy Day was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prime swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Day counters with a straight right hand.
Day moves forwards but Prime connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Day looks to throw the jab but Prime is out of range.
Day throws a jab but it's blocked by Prime.
Day keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Day looks for the body kick but Prime saw that one coming.
Day throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Prime on the side of the head.
Prime swings widly with a right hand
and Day makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Day with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Day throws a poor cross that misses
and Prime counters with a straight right hand.
Day closes the distance but Prime moves to the side
and Prime connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Day misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Day tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Happy Day seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Prime is trying to force a seperation but Day has the dominant position.

Prime wants to land a leg kick but Day is out of range.
Day lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Day misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Prime counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Good work by Day as he checks the leg kick.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Day tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Prime manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Day throws out a leg kick but Prime moves out of range and Day only half commits.

Prime does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Day counters with a head kick. That will keep Prime thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Day cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Day wants to clinch up but Prime keeps it at a distance.

Day throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Day displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Prime throws out the jab.
Day shoots in for a takedown but Prime shows good takedown defense.

Day looks to score with a jab to the body but Prime is just out of range.
Day darts in trying to clinch
and Prime counters with a nice leg kick.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Day tries to clinch up but Prime circles away and keeps his distance.
Prime shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

and Day counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Day plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Prime cracks Day with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

and Day counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Day counters with a nice leg kick.
Prime uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Day.
Prime throws a body punch but Day moves out of range.
Prime throws a combination that misses
letting Day counter with a right hand.
Day tries to clinch but Prime moves out of range.
Prime takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Prime throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Prime leaves Day with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Happy Day showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

and Day finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Day moves into the clinch.
Prime wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Day has him pressed against the cage.
Prime is looking to break free of the clinch but Day has double underhooks.
Day has Prime pressed against the cage, preventing Prime from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Day fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Prime has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Day works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Prime wants to stall.
Prime tries to break the clinch but Day is controlling the position.
Day digs a right hand into Prime's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Prime's gas tank.

Day throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Oh Prime is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Day unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Prime! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Day is unloading with more strikes now! Prime drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
