Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smido shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clark but Clark pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Smido throws the left hand but Clark avoids the punch easily.
Clark lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Smido checks a leg kick.
Smido shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Smido was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Clark is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Smido is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Clark can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Smido looking to ground and pound but Clark is blocking nicely.
Smido punching from mount but Clark doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Smido has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Smido looking to finish Clark with some ground and pound. This is bad for Clark!

Smido connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Smido breaks from Clark's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Smido thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Smido putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Clark tries to lock up and control but Smido gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Smido thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Clark is desperately trying to improve his position but Smido has a good base and remains in mount.
A nice elbow there by Smido.
Smido raining down shots from the mount!
Clark is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Smido lands a big shot to the head and Clark winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
