Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Duscaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Tyrant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duscaw comes to the cage accompanied by "I am the Walrus" by The Beatles. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duscaw shoots in and drives through. Tyrant sprawls well.

and Duscaw counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Tyrant's guard now.
Tyrant is looking to stand up but Duscaw isn't so interested in that idea.
Duscaw is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Duscaw seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tyrant for as long as he can get away with.
Duscaw prevents Tyrant from getting back to his feet.

Tyrant takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
