PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jary Bazu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Idk Idk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bazu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Round and Round. Jary Bazu has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bazu shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Idk's guard.
Bazu wants to control from the top but Idk keeps moving.

Idk looking for a guillotine here but Bazu defends easily.

Idk is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bazu defends well.
Idk wants to control the position but Bazu says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Bazu is thwarting Idk's attempts to control the position.
Idk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Idk.
Idk is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Idk trying to pass the guard but Bazu defending well.
Idk throwing shots but Bazu is blocking nicely.
Bazu tries to get to full guard but Idk has control of the leg.
Idk working the head and body with strikes.
Bazu is trying to get back to full guard.

Idk is looking for a kimura here.
Idk is nestled in close to Bazu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Idk is trying to control. Bazu wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Idk lands strikes from half guard.
Idk working over Bazu with some ground and pound. Bazu looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Bazu tries to get to full guard but Idk has control of the leg.
Idk has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Idk is working for a kimura but Bazu is defending it quite comfortably.

Idk is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Bazu is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
