Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Bautin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royston De Noteboom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bautin comes into the arena with Lobotomy by The Ramones blaring out of the sound system. De Noteboom is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Rotting Christ - Snowing Still. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Noteboom tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Bautin to counter with a crisp jab.
Royston De Noteboom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Noteboom misses with a takedown attempt - Bautin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Bautin goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Royston De Noteboom has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Bautin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sergei Bautin will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

De Noteboom throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bautin was covering up waiting for the punch and De Noteboom finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bautin will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

De Noteboom feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bautin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
