The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abu lands a big uppercut and Connelly crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Connelly looks OK. Abu waves Connelly back to his feet!

Connelly is rocked!

It looks like James Connelly has been cut.
Abu misses with a two punch combination.
Oh Connelly is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Connelly feints a jab promting Abu to slip. Connelly then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Abu slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Connelly seems to have got his legs back now.
Connelly misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Abu throws an off balance right hand
and Connelly counters with a three punch combo that has Abu backing up. Abu nods at Connelly to acknowledge the strikes.
Abu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Abu sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Connelly's defenses. It connects perfectly with Connelly's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
