Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Garry Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thor King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - King lands in his opponent's guard.
Mason wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

King thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mason looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
King wants to control from the top but Mason keeps moving.

King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mason swivels though and keeps the full guard.

King is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Mason is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Mason feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mason has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing King to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mason is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - King pulls down on the head and he's put Mason to sleep! This one is all over!
