The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Mendez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Collins tries to hold on but Mendez pushes him away.
Mendez is landing with some decent strikes but Collins is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Collins is rocked!
It looks like Sam Collins has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mendez postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Collins out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Mendez goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
