Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evander Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Evander Roy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mateus Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie looks to score with a jab to the body but Roy is just out of range.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Roy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Gracie swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Roy looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Gracie misses with a jab, cross combination.
Roy misses with a head kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Gracie blocks the leg kick.
Gracie tries to move into range but Roy moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Roy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gracie misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Roy parries the strikes from Gracie easily there. Gracie is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Roy to escape.
Gracie misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Gracie with the ground and pound but Roy regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Gracie works his way into full mount!
Roy tries to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Roy is desperately trying to improve his position but Gracie has a good base and remains in mount.
Roy is squirming around, avoiding Gracie's attempts to control the action.
Roy is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gracie postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Roy looks a forlorn figure.
A nice elbow there by Gracie.
Gracie can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Roy is looking to escape.
Roy really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Gracie breaks from Roy's wrist control and lands an elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gracie throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Roy because Gracie loaded up on that one.
Gracie has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Roy's face.

It looks like Evander Roy has been cut.
Roy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gracie on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roy is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
