The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taalasmaa is looking to clinch but Bass is avoiding it.

Taalasmaa has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bass goes for a takedown in the clinch but Taalasmaa prevents it.
Taalasmaa landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Taalasmaa using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Bass is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Taalasmaa lands a big knee to the head and Bass goes down! Taalasmaa is looking to finish!

Bass is rocked!

It looks like Jason Bass has been cut.

Taalasmaa decides to stand back up.
Oh Bass is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Taalasmaa instigates a clinch.
Bass jumps guard but Taalasmaa stands there with Bass around his waist. Bass gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bass seems to have got his legs back now.
Taalasmaa lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Taalasmaa with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Bass has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Taalasmaa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Bass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Taalasmaa lands a hook that snaps the head of Bass backwards.
Bass tries to score a body lock takedown but Taalasmaa shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bass tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Taalasmaa just stands there and leans against the cage.
Taalasmaa lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Taalasmaa gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bass.
Bass tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Taalasmaa smiles and moves away.

Taalasmaa fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bass, pushing him back against the cage.
Taalasmaa landing knees to the body.
Bass tries to pull guard but Taalasmaa won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Taalasmaa lands a knee to the head.
Taalasmaa connects with a knee right up the middle there - that's rocked Bass badly! Bass tumbles to the floor and Taalasmaa stands over him, dominant and satisfied with his glorious KO victory!
