The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takamura darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Takamura stops Bauber from getting back to his feet.
Still in half guard, Takamura seems content to control.
Bauber scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Takamura manages to mount him!
Takamura is landing with some decent strikes but Bauber is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

It looks like Jack Bauber has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Takamura fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Jack Bauber's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bauber is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Bauber has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
