Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colin McLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jp Damphousse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McLeod comes to the cage accompanied by Scotland the Brave. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McLeod clinches up against the cage.
McLeod avoiding damage.

McLeod gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
McLeod trying to control the position from guard on top but Damphousse is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McLeod stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Damphousse swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McLeod wants to control from the top but Damphousse keeps moving.
McLeod is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Damphousse is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Colin McLeod.
McLeod bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

McLeod forces Damphousse back against the cage and clinches.

McLeod breaks the clinch.

Damphousse tries to keep at a distance but McLeod has taken the fight into the clinch.

Damphousse thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Damphousse prevents McLeod from getting the reversal.
McLeod wants to control but Damphousse is having none of it.
Damphousse unloads with some shots from mount but McLeod bucks and avoids them well.
