Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silver Haze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Haka kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Silver Haze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Duncan!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Duncan.
Haze wants to clinch
and Duncan counters with a body kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Duncan misses the target.
Duncan throws a low kick but it's checked well by Haze.
Haze with a lazy takedown attempt
and Duncan counters with a nice uppercut.

Duncan closes the distance and clinches.

Haze drags the fight down to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Haze controls Duncan momentarily but Duncan frees himself.
Duncan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haze swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Duncan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Duncan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Haze avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Haze controls Duncan momentarily but Duncan frees himself.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Duncan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Haze is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duncan postures up.
Duncan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Silver Haze.
Duncan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Haze manages to avoid it.
Haze doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Duncan counters with a crisp right hand that drops Haze! Duncan lets Haze back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Haze is rocked!

It looks like Silver Haze has been cut.
Haze shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Duncan counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Silver Haze. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Haze is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Duncan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Duncan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Duncan throws a low kick but Haze moves out of range easily.
Duncan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Haze moves to clinch but Duncan breaks away
and Duncan counters with a nice body shot.
Tom Duncan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Duncan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Duncan fakes the body blow, causing Haze to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Haze goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
