The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots for a takedown but Duder saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice sprawl there from Duder as Santos shoots in.
Santos shoots for a double leg takedown but Duder sprawls well. He's pushed Santos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Santos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Duder throws a head kick but Santos moves out of range.

Santos closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Santos lands in his opponent's guard.
Santos stops Duder from standing up.
Santos wants to control from the top but Duder keeps moving.
Santos won't allow Duder to get back to his feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duder can do anything to dispel that myth.
Santos postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Santos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Santos is in close to Duder's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Santos prevents Duder from getting back to his feet.
Santos content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Santos advances to half guard.
Duder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Santos seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

A head kick by Duder - that's a beauty! Santos is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Duder can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
