Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stanislav Jovanovitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaques Cousteau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jovanovitch comes into the arena with Just Like You Imagined - Nine Inch Nails blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Yves DeLean and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jovanovitch fails to land the takedown.
Cousteau avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Cousteau clinches up with Jovanovitch and pushes him back against the cage.
Jovanovitch cracks Cousteau with a nice body shot.
Jovanovitch gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like Jaques Cousteau has been cut.

Cousteau won't allow Jovanovitch to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cousteau wants to hit a switch here but Jovanovitch passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Cousteau there!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cousteau can do anything to dispel that myth.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
