Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bourne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Huges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bourne comes to the cage accompanied by Going Under by Evanescence. Huges has chosen Buck Dich as his entrance music. Greg Huges struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jason Bourne could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Greg Huges's chin.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourne feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Huges's calf.

Huges darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Huges wants to stand up but Bourne has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Huges is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bourne has managed to free his arm - good work.
Bourne is controlling Huges's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Huges wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bourne keeps working.
Bourne manages to get to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huges trying to control but Bourne is working from the bottom.
Huges wants to stand but Bourne is controlling his posture from full guard.
Bourne is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Huges trying to control the position from guard on top but Bourne is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Greg Huges wasn't active enough on the ground.
Huges misses with a looping left.

Huges rushes Bourne and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bourne manages to break the clinch.
Bourne fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Huges has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Huges tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bourne paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bourne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bourne chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Huges looks gassed!
That kick from Bourne tenderised Huges's leg. Huges is trying to keep his angry face on.
Crunch! Bourne slams his shin into Huges's torso.
Bourne connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Huges takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Huges on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bourne. Bourne obviously looking to wear him down.

Bourne lands a big head kick that sends Huges tumbling to the mat! Bourne takes a step backwards and waves Huges back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Huges is rocked!

It looks like Greg Huges has been cut.
Bourne throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Huges is still on wobbly legs! Can Bourne finish him?
Bourne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Bourne! Huges is out on his feet! Bourne rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Huges is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Huges is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
