Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russian Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baby Girl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Girl throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Girl dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Saint is breathing heavily.
Girl swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Girl misses with an attempted mid kick.
Girl tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Girl throws a wild body kick that Saint sees coming a mile off.
Girl throws the kick towards the body but Saint avoids it.
Girl takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Baby Girl has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Girl throws a sloppy head kick
and Saint counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Girl avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A head kick misses from Girl.
Girl misses with a head kick.
Girl goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Girl uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Saint.

Girl tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Girl misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Girl misses with a lunging right hand
letting Saint counter with a right hand.
Saint bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Girl's head.
Saint tries to bum rush Girl with a series of wild strikes but Girl uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Saint connects with a jab.
Girl tries a head kick but it misses.
Saint lands a big right hand that sends Girl crashing to the mat! Saint stays standing though and waves Girl back to his feet!
Girl is rocked!
That has opened up Baby Girl's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Saint tries a low kick but Girl avoids it.
Girl throws a head kick but Saint moves out of range.

Girl takes one to the side of the head.
Saint lands with a shot to the body.
Saint misses with a two punch combination.
Saint fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Saint connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Saint cracks Girl with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Saint has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Girl to stand back up!
Girl is still on wobbly legs! Can Saint finish him?
The cut above Baby Girl's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Saint sends Girl crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Saint is motioning to the referee to let Girl up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Girl walks straight into a right hand from Saint - that's dropped him! Saint jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Girl from any more punishment! Girl complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Russian Saint!
