PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Damien Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anatoli Todorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes to the cage accompanied by Tupac -Ambitionz Az A Ridah. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Todorov tries to keep at a distance but Carter has taken the fight into the clinch.
Carter fails to pull guard.

Todorov ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Todorov no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Carter thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Carter postures up.
Carter prevents Todorov from getting back to his feet.

Todorov wriggles free and stands up.
Todorov stuffs the takedown attempt from Carter. Carter gets slowly back to his feet.
Carter shoots for a takedown but Todorov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Todorov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Carter, pushing him back against the cage.
Todorov tries to score a body lock takedown but Carter shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Todorov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Carter avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Todorov has Carter pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Carter manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Todorov breaks the clinch.
Carter takes one to the side of the head.
Carter takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Carter throws a series of punches but Todorov avoids them all with ease.
Carter lands a nice looking body shot.
Todorov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

and Carter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Carter shoots in and bounces Todorov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Todorov wants to sweep but no luck.

Todorov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Carter gets to his feet. Todorov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Carter takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Carter walks into a left hand.
Todorov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Carter tries to close the distance and clinch but Todorov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Todorov lands a left and a right that sends Carter crashing to the canvas! Todorov dives into mount looking to finish!

Todorov wants to finish this one by submission but Carter is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Todorov.
Carter seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Todorov wants to take Carter's back here but Carter is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Todorov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Carter is proving hard to escape from.
Carter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Todorov is one step ahead there.

Todorov would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Todorov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Carter works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Carter slips a jab and a cross from Todorov.

Todorov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Carter doesn't manage to clinch there - Todorov circles away.

and Carter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Todorov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Todorov throws a series of punches but Carter moves out of range.
Todorov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like Anatoli Todorov has been cut.
Todorov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Carter counters with a head kick. That will keep Todorov thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Carter throws a series of punches but Todorov avoids them all with ease.

Todorov gets caught flat footed, as Carter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
