Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aries Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Plyako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, (hed) PE- Boom (How you like that). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrey Plyako!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Viktor Lagutenko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plyako tries to clinch
and Henderson counters with a stiff right hand.
Plyako moves to clinch but Henderson breaks away
and Henderson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Plyako tries a head kick but it misses.
Plyako dives in and grabs Henderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Henderson pushes down on Plyako's head and hops out.
Henderson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Henderson counters with a straight right hand.
Plyako is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Andrey Plyako has been cut.
Plyako shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Henderson but Henderson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Plyako shoots in looking for a takedown. Henderson tries to sprawl out of it but Plyako keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Henderson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Aries Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrey Plyako.
Henderson lands a head shot.
Henderson cracks Plyako with an uppercut from hell and Plyako crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Henderson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Plyako is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Plyako is wriggling around but Henderson manages to pass to half guard.

Henderson stops Plyako from getting back to his feet.
Plyako seems to have recovered his senses.
Henderson controlling the pace.

Henderson uses his free foot to push down on Plyako's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Plyako.
Plyako is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Henderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Plyako on the ground.
Henderson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Plyako is trying to stand.
Plyako keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Plyako looks gassed!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Plyako is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Plyako tries to reverse the position but Henderson maintains control.
You get the feeling that Plyako really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Plyako manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Plyako flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Henderson stands up out of the half guard.
Plyako misses with a takedown
and Henderson counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Andrey Plyako seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henderson digs a good hook to Plyako's body.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Plyako takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aries Henderson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Andrey Plyako's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Aries Henderson is winning the standup battle so far.
Henderson drops Plyako with a straight right hand, right on the button! Henderson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
