The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Rhaz is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gonzaga.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Gonzaga lands the left hand.
Gonzaga moves into the clinch successfully.

Al Rhaz breaks the clinch.
A combination from Gonzaga does no damage.
Al Rhaz misses with a series of wild punches.

Gonzaga is trying to control the position but Al Rhaz postures up.
Gonzaga tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Al Rhaz drops back looking for a leg! Gonzaga is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gonzaga manages to kick Al Rhaz off! Al Rhaz jumps back into Gonzaga's guard.
Al Rhaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gonzaga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gonzaga looking to control.
Al Rhaz postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gonzaga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Al Rhaz is one step ahead there.
Gonzaga manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Al Rhaz manages to get himself to full guard.

Al Rhaz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Gonzaga trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Al Rhaz looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Gonzaga has picked Al Rhaz up and slammed him! Al Rhaz can't keep hold of the triangle and Gonzaga manages to pass to side control!
Gonzaga has an Americana. Al Rhaz didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gonzaga is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gonzaga hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
