Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kreed misses with a takedown attempt
and Fitch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kreed moves out of range as Fitch strikes.
Fitch throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kreed sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kreed gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Fitch counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kreed's guard now.
Kreed keeping moving, preventing Fitch from controlling successfully.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kreed is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Gerald Fitch wasn't active enough on the ground.

Fitch feints and as Kreed raises his hands in defense, Fitch changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kreed looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fitch is one step ahead there.
Kreed looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fitch puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Fitch throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kreed trying to control from the bottom.
Kreed is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Fitch wants to get back to his feet.

Fitch thows an elbow strike that misses. Kreed gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Fitch doesn't seem too bothered but Kreed quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Fitch is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Fitch really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
