The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booms tests de Villiers's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Booms connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
The fighters circling - Booms throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
de Villiers gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Booms sends de Villiers crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Booms is motioning to the referee to let de Villiers up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Ab de Villiers has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
de Villiers glances at the clock... BAM! Booms nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends de Villiers crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, de Villiers is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
