Belfort comes to the cage accompanied by Burn It To The Ground. Lynch has chosen N.Y. State of Mind -- Nas as his entrance music. Peter Lynch is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Belfort dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lynch. That did some damage!

and Lynch counters with a three punch combo that has Belfort backing up. Belfort nods at Lynch to acknowledge the strikes.

Lynch is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Belfort wants to control from the top but Lynch keeps moving.
Belfort is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lynch is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Belfort doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Lynch lands a nice looking body kick.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lynch throws a low kick but it's checked well by Belfort.
Belfort throws a looping overhand right but Lynch ducks down to avoid it.
Lynch plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Belfort missing with a left hand there. Lynch was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Belfort counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lynch does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Belfort misses the shot to the body.
Belfort connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Belfort darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Belfort pivots, looking for a leg kick but Lynch is out of range and Belfort settles back down.
Belfort misses with an uppercut.

Lynch throws a push kick but Belfort slaps the foot to one side.
Lynch takes one to the chin there.
Good standup being displayed there by Belfort as he connects with a hook.

and Lynch counters with a big head kick but Belfort shrugs it off.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Fedor Belfort is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Belfort uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lynch.

and Belfort cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Belfort throws a right hand that Lynch ducks under and follows up with a left that Lynch also avoids with ease.
Belfort takes a swing at Lynch's ribcage but misses.
A solid leg kick lands there for Belfort.

Belfort falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lynch counters with a head kick. That will keep Belfort thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

It looks like Peter Lynch has been cut.
Belfort's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lynch under the eye.
Belfort tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lynch sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Belfort somewhat.

Lynch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Belfort doesn't seem bothered though.

Lynch pivots, looking for a leg kick but Belfort is out of range and Lynch settles back down.

and Belfort counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lynch!
Lynch is in all sorts of trouble here.

Belfort throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Lynch has his hands clasped together but Belfort breaks the hold and Lynch is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Belfort!
