Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 19 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Angel Pain!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castro shoots in and drives through. Pain sprawls well.
Sloppy strikes from Pain. Those never looked like landing.
Pain throws a lazy head kick

and Castro counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Castro content to control rather than advance.
Pain is trying to get back to full guard.
Castro not doing much here.

Castro is looking for a kimura here.
Pain makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pain.
Castro stays in close to Pain's body and controls the position.
Castro stopping the sweep attempt from Pain.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Castro is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Pain is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Castro is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Castro postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Pain can't keep his opponent in guard - Castro advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Pain on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Castro has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pain wants to improve his position but Castro is controlling well.

Castro seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pain is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
