Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Moultrie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry Walker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Moultrie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Terry Walker!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moultrie tries to sprawl but Walker drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Walker is looking to advance position but Moultrie won't allow it.
Moultrie is looking to improve his position.

Walker is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Moultrie trying to hold on to Walker's head to control him but Walker postures up.

Walker is trying to work for a kimura but Moultrie is defending well.
Walker wants to take a breather but Moultrie is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moultrie regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Walker.
Walker wants to control from the top but Moultrie keeps moving.

Moultrie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Walker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Walker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Walker tries to stand but Moultrie is controlling from the bottom.

Moultrie wants to sweep here but Walker controlling him for the moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Walker thows a big elbow that misses.

Walker pushes down on Moultrie's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moultrie keeps working.
Walker is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Walker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Moultrie works his way to full guard. Good work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Walker slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Walker decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Walker darts in trying to clinch
and Moultrie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Moultrie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Walker defends it nicely.
Moultrie is breathing heavily.

Walker feints and as Moultrie raises his hands in defense, Walker changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Walker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Walker wants to stand but Moultrie is controlling his posture from full guard.
Walker lands a couple of elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moultrie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Moultrie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Walker has escaped the position, nice work there.
Moultrie trying to control the position but Walker is working away.
Walker tries to get back to half guard but can't.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Moultrie is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Walker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Walker is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Moultrie's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Moultrie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moultrie tries to pass the half guard into mount. Walker knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Moultrie is working for a kimura but Walker is defending it quite comfortably.
Moultrie is stalling here. Walker is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Moultrie seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Walker has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Walker is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Moultrie slaps away a takedown attempt from Walker, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Walker shoots and misses

and Moultrie decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Walker's guard.
Walker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Moultrie is controlling him.

Moultrie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Moultrie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Walker has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moultrie has managed to get both his arms back between Walker's legs - danger averted.
Moultrie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Walker's guard.
Walker wants to improve his position but Moultrie is controlling well.
Moultrie is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Moultrie wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Moultrie postures up.
Moultrie wants to pass the guard but Walker is keeping the position.
Walker is trying to control the position but Moultrie postures up.

Moultrie slips nicely into half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Moultrie has his foot on Walker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Walker works his way back into a safe position though.
Terry Walker has got the better of the ground game so far.
Walker pushes down on Moultrie's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Walker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moultrie keeps working.
Moultrie is in trouble now - Walker has advanced to mount!

I think Walker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
