Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Cleaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cleaver comes into the arena with Drowning Pool - Bodies blaring out of the sound system. Grant has chosen Wait and Bleed by Slipknot as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grant tries to keep at a distance but Cleaver has taken the fight into the clinch.

Grant seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cleaver does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Grant stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cleaver swivels though and keeps the full guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cleaver pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Grant back to the ropes. Cleaver follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Cleaver does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Grant swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Cleaver is now in Grant's guard. A big mistake from Grant there, giving up the dominant position!
Grant controls Cleaver momentarily but Cleaver frees himself.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cleaver wants to stand but Grant has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Cleaver gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Cleaver ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
