Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zunder Smythe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donnie Yen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yen misses with a head kick.
Yen closes the distance but Smythe moves to the side
and Smythe counters with a stiff right hand.

It looks like Donnie Yen has been cut.
Yen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Smythe chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Yen can pounce on him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Yen counters with an outside leg kick.

Smythe tries to score with a low kick but Yen moves his leg out of the way.
Yen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Smythe stuns Yen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Smythe throws out a powerful jab.

That has opened up Donnie Yen's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Yen walks straight into a right hand from Smythe - that's dropped him! Smythe jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Yen from any more punishment! Yen complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
