PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Whitaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stewart Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whitaker comes to the cage accompanied by "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragon Force. Kelly has chosen Dropkick Murphy's - Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music. Whitaker is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Whitaker wants to clinch up but Kelly keeps it at a distance.

Kelly seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Kelly looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Whitaker with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Kelly moves nicely into side control.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Kelly had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Whitaker defends it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
