Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bill Davies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Meier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meier has chosen Cant be touched as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tyler Meier!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Davies shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Davies wants to take a breather but Meier is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davies uses his free foot to push down on Meier's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Meier.
Meier tries to reverse the position but Davies maintains control.

Davies is working for a guillotine from mount but Meier frees his head quite easily.

Davies goes for an armbar but Meier turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Meier.
Meier trying to control but Davies is working from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Meier accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Davies is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Meier is aware though and is defending well.
Meier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davies. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Davies has his foot on Meier's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Meier works his way back into a safe position though.
Davies might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Meier lands a couple of elbows.

Meier is sitting in close to Davies's body. Davies has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Meier is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Meier is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Davies.
