Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Padraig O Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Vallely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vallely has chosen CKY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from O Hare misses the target.
No joy there for O Hare, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice sprawl there from Vallely as O Hare shoots in.
Vallely misses with an uppercut
and O Hare counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vallely thinking.
O Hare throws a hook but Vallely blocks it.
Vallely fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
O Hare takes a body punch but keeps moving.
O Hare misses with a shot to the body
and Vallely counters with a stiff right hand.
O Hare misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
O Hare throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

and Vallely counters with a shoot takedown. O Hare fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

O Hare is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vallely is aware though and is defending well.
Vallely seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

O Hare working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vallely doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vallely manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
O Hare tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vallely accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Vallely got a little sloppy there for a moment and O Hare has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Vallely has managed to get both his arms back between O Hare's legs - danger averted.

O Hare escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vallely gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

O Hare had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vallely defends it easily.

O Hare pushes Vallely off and scrambles back to his feet.
Vallely misses with a straight left.
Vallely takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
O Hare shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Vallely defends it nicely.

Vallely moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Vallely scores with a counter punch that sends O Hare to the canvas! Vallely smells blood - he's punishing O Hare with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! O Hare has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
