The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mordecai throws the left hand but Velasquez avoids the punch easily.

Mordecai moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Velasquez goes down! Can Mordecai finish him!?

It looks like jordy Velasquez has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mordecai is fighting to break Velasquez's control of his arms but Velasquez is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Mordecai wants to control from the top but Velasquez keeps moving.
Mordecai wants to stand and escape but instead Velasquez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Velasquez keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mordecai's head.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mordecai lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
