Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Bender (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Kingbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kingbo has chosen Bad to the Bone as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bender closes the distance looking to clinch
and Kingbo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Tyson Bender has been cut.
Bender tries to clinch there but Kingbo circles away.
Kingbo swings widly with a right hand
and Bender counters with a nice body shot.
Kingbo misses with a wild combination.
A shot to the liver by Kingbo. Beautiful body shot.
Kingbo throws a hook but Bender blocks it.
Bender fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kingbo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bender takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Sean Kingbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Donk. Kingbo catches Bender right on the button with a cross.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bender blocks a jab.
Kingbo moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kingbo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Bender under the eye.

Kingbo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Kingbo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bender looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bender is breathing heavily.
Bender tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kingbo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Bender counters with a straight right hand.
Bender displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kingbo throws out the jab.
Kingbo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

and Kingbo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kingbo slips a nice elbow through Bender's hands, connecting with Bender's forehead.
Kingbo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bender's head.
Kingbo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bender keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
