The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kain shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kain showed some decent athleticism there.
Kain decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Kain misses with a head kick.
John Kain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kain shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kain was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kain thowing shots but they're missing.
Skeet is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kain working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Skeet turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Kain off and cradles Skeet's limp body as Kain celebrates with his corner.
