The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maguire tries for a takedown but Westgate sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Maguire fails to land the takedown.
Maguire gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Westgate counters with a stiff right hand.
Wolfe Westgate has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steel Maguire.
Maguire is trying hard to land a takedown here. Westgate sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Maguire gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Westgate wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Westgate breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
