The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz gets caught flat footed, as Mack shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Diaz tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Mack is fighting to break Diaz's control of his arms but Diaz is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jesse Diaz has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Mack gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Diaz to score an easy takedown into full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

It looks like Anthony Mack has been cut.
Diaz cracks Mack with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Diaz wants to control the pace but Mack is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
