PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Moose Nuts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivera has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Rivera as Nuts shoots in.
Nuts shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rivera as he avoids it easily.

Rivera looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Nuts works his way to full guard. Good work.
Nuts has control of Rivera's left arm, preventing Rivera from doing any damage.
Nuts punching to the body, from the bottom.
Rivera is fighting to break Nuts's control of his arms but Nuts is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Rivera looks gassed!

Nuts pushes Rivera off and scrambles back to his feet.
Nuts shoots and misses

and Rivera counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Nuts!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moose Nuts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nuts manages to control the position for a moment.
Rivera avoids the attempt from Nuts to control.
Nuts slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Nuts moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Rivera is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Nuts has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rivera is looking to defend but Nuts has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rivera! Nuts pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rivera taps out and this one is all over!
