Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roax Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randon Rett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie is pushing Rett's head away, looking to escape. Rett manages to hold on to the position though.

Rett goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gracie has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Rett but great work by Gracie.

Gracie decides to stand back up. Gracie steps back and let's Rett get back to his feet.

Rett throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rett is in Gracie's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Rett throws and elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rett's guard. Nice move by Gracie!

Gracie throws a leg kick but Rett moved away.
Gracie lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rett tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.
Gracie lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Gracie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rett has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracie is trying to escape the mount.

Rett has control of Gracie's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gracie regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Rett wants to control the pace but Gracie is squirming around nicely.

Gracie pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rett back to the cage. Gracie follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gracie fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rett is out of range.
