Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed-Indestructible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malcolm Winner!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner scores with a punch to the head.
A shot to the body from Davis misses
and Davis takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


It looks like John Davis has been cut.
Davis throws a left and a right that both miss
and Winner counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

and Winner counters with a stiff right hand.
Winner fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Winner swings widly with a right hand
and Davis counters with a lovely straight right hand!


It looks like Malcolm Winner has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Davis lands a big right hand that sends Winner crashing to the mat! Davis stays standing though and waves Winner back to his feet!
Davis misses with a hook
enabling Winner to counter with a crisp jab.
Winner throws out a loose jab but Davis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Davis misses with a body punch
and Winner counters with a stiff right hand.
Davis rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Winner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Davis misses with a combination
and Winner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Davis throws a combination that misses
and Winner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Winner throws a hook but Davis avoids it easily.
Winner looks to land a left hand but Davis moved out of range nicely.

Winner closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Davis quickly recovers to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis is not content to let Winner control the position.
Winner missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Winner throwing shots but Davis is blocking nicely.
Winner winds up and cracks Davis with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Winner sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Davis defending well though.
Winner is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Winner trying to control from half guard but Davis is working away.
Winner is nestled in close to Davis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Davis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Winner.
Winner thows a huge punch but Davis dodges it nicely.

Winner stops Davis from getting back to his feet.
Winner with the ground and pound but Davis uses the opportunity to regain guard.

Winner is working Davis over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Davis utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Winner advances to half guard.
Winner lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Davis is refusing to be controlled, as Winner sits in half guard.
Winner not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Winner lands with a punch from half guard.
Winner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davis has hold of Winner's hands but Winner slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.


John Davis's cut is getting worse.
Winner moves nicely into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Winner throws an elbow but Davis slips to the side and avoids it well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The strikes coming from Winner are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Winner laying and praying for a moment but Davis takes advantage and regains half guard.
Winner tries to pass the half guard into mount. Davis knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Davis is trying to stand up here but Winner is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Malcolm Winner dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Davis takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Winner scores with a jab to the jaw.
Davis falls off balance throwing a combination

and Winner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Davis's guard.
Winner trying to control the position from guard on top but Davis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Winner sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Davis's guard.
Davis might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Davis is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Winner scores with a couple of nice shots.


John Davis's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Davis's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Malcolm Winner!
