Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Repe Sorsa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and T Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorsa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sorsa looks for a takedown but Rex sprawls well.

Sorsa doesn't manage to clinch there - Rex circles away.

Rex uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Rex shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Rex really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sorsa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sorsa bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rex is looking to stand up but Sorsa isn't so interested in that idea.

T Rex dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sorsa doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Rex counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Rex throws a strike but Sorsa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rex is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sorsa distracts Rex with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
T Rex has got the better of the ground game so far.
Rex wants to sweep but no luck.
Rex lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sorsa!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Rex cracks Sorsa with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Rex landing strikes from the mount and Sorsa is in trouble!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sorsa sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Rex looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sorsa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Sorsa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rex is controlling him.

Sorsa had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rex is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Sorsa Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rex's back instead.

Sorsa has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Rex is defending well but eventually Sorsa manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Rex has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
