Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wade Deadpool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Venture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hank Venture told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deadpool shoots and misses
and Venture cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Venture bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Deadpool is looking for a sweep.
Deadpool gets back to half guard.
Venture tries to pass to full mount but Deadpool defends it.
Deadpool tries to get to full guard but Venture has control of the leg.
Venture is trying to control the action in half guard but Deadpool is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Deadpool wants to improve his position but Venture is controlling well.
Venture landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Venture looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Venture thows a huge punch but Deadpool dodges it nicely.

Venture tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Wade Deadpool has been cut.
You can see the frustration on Deadpool's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Venture content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
