Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khairi Fortt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Yizzle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Yizzle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fortt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Yizzle.
Yizzle shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fortt swings for the body but Yizzle moves out of range.
A swing and a miss from Yizzle.
A jab from Fortt does it's job there.
Yizzle misses with a looping left.
Fortt slips under a jab from Yizzle.

and Fortt counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fortt. Yizzle does a little dance to reset his feet.

Fortt lands a nice shot that snaps Yizzle's head back.
Fortt clobbers Yizzle with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Yizzle gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Yizzle turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Yizzle manages to end up in side control.

Yizzle is looking to take a break and control but Fortt is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Yizzle tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Yizzle is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Fortt's shoulder. That is not cool.
Fortt is not content to let Yizzle control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yizzle wants to control but Fortt is keeping him busy.
Fortt is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Yizzle's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Yizzle perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Fortt is looking for a sweep. Yizzle is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Fortt creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Yizzle with a big uppercut! Yizzle tries to clinch up but Fortt pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Yizzle to the mat! Yizzle covers up and Fortt unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
