Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gabriel with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gabriel.

It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut.
Balboa misses with a wild body shot.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Balboa enables Gabriel to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Balboa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Balboa keeping moving, preventing Gabriel from controlling successfully.
Gabriel connects with a couple of short punches.
Gabriel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Balboa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Balboa wants to stand and escape but Gabriel is having none of it.
Gabriel distracts Balboa with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Gabriel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Balboa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gabriel scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Balboa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gabriel is working away from the top position though.
Gabriel lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gabriel connects with a nice short shot to Balboa's temple.

Gabriel is looking for a kimura but Balboa is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gabriel to get the leverage.
Gabriel works his foot free and advances to mount.
Gabriel postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Balboa looks a forlorn figure.

Balboa is rocked!
Gabriel lands a big shot to the head and Balboa winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
