Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charles Luciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akuma Pjiton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Akuma Pjiton has been cut.

Pjiton clinches up with Luciano and pushes him back against the cage.

Pjiton decides to pull guard.

Pjiton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Luciano defends it easily.

Luciano slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Luciano doesn't have the hooks in and Pjiton manages to turn into his guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Charles Luciano wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Luciano attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

A looping hook to the body misses from Luciano. Pjiton does a little dance to reset his feet.

Luciano shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pjiton napping and manages to drive through into side control!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Charles Luciano has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Akuma Pjiton.
Luciano throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Pjiton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Luciano looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Pjiton tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pjiton has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Luciano can't do much from the bottom here.

Pjiton is working to tighten is grip on Luciano's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Luciano has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Pjiton is really squeezing tight and eventually Luciano passes out! Pjiton breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
