The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luutch darts in trying to clinch
and Pacquiao counters with a nice uppercut.

Pacquiao is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Luutch's half guard.
Pacquiao is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Luutch is trying to stand.
Pacquiao content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Pacquiao has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Manny Pacquiao just wasn't active enough.

Pacquiao gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Luutch throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pacquiao blocks it with crossed arms.
Luutch tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Luutch looks gassed!

Pacquiao tightens his grip and picks Luutch up, before dumping him to the ground. Luutch manages to land in guard.

Luutch pushes Pacquiao off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Luutch closes the distance but Pacquiao moves to the side

and Pacquiao counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Luutch!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
