Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Boldin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boldin comes to the cage accompanied by My time is now. Bryan has chosen Nickelback - Burn It To the Ground as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boldin throws a leg kick
and Bryan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Bryan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Boldin checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bryan sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Bryan looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boldin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Boldin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Boldin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boldin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Boldin tries to clinch up but Bryan circles away and keeps his distance.

and Bryan counters with a slapping leg kick.
Boldin throws a half hearted mid kick.
Boldin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bryan paws at him with a jab and circles away.

so Bryan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Bryan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Boldin is trying to keep Bryan in close.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boldin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close round but I would say that Robert Boldin will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bryan throws a lazy body kick
and Boldin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bryan is breathing heavily.
Boldin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Boldin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A thudding body kick lands there by Boldin!

Bryan circles away from the clinch attempt.

Bryan gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Boldin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bryan keeps the fight on the outside.
Bryan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bryan misses with a leg kick
and Boldin counters with a head kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bryan shoots for a double leg takedown but Boldin sprawls well. He's pushed Bryan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Robert Boldin is winning the standup battle so far.
Bryan fails with a takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bryan blocks a head kick by Boldin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Bryan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Boldin misses with an attempted mid kick.

and Bryan counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Bryan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bryan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boldin is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bryan, into his guard.

Bryan wants to improve his position but Boldin is controlling well.
Bryan manages to get to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bryan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bryan is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Boldin is looking to improve his position.

Bryan wants to work for an arm triangle but Boldin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bryan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Boldin is just riding it out for now. Bryan eventually gives up the hold.

Bryan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

King Bryan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
