Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Street Cred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stran Gler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cred comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger. Street Cred had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gler trying to control the position from guard on top but Cred is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gler looking to pass the guard.
Gler throwing strikes but missing.
Cred controlling the position.
Cred looking for a sweep. Not yet Cred, not yet.
Gler is pushing down on Cred's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cred is fighting to maintain full guard but Gler has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cred tries to get to full guard but Gler has control of the leg.
Gler trying to control the action but Cred is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cred looks like he's trying to stand up.
Cred slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Gler postures up in Cred's guard and throws a big left but Cred blocks it.
Gler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cred swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gler trying to control the position from guard on top but Cred is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gler tries to free his leg and advance position but Cred is retaining full guard.
Gler stopping the sweep attempt from Cred.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gler trying to control but Cred is working from the bottom.
Cred looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gler postures up in Cred's guard and throws a big left but Cred blocks it.
Cred lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gler!

Cred has hold of Gler's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gler manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Gler tries to reverse the position but Cred maintains control.
Cred looking to finish Gler with some ground and pound. This is bad for Gler!
Cred lands a nice shot to the head.
Cred lands a heavy elbow.
Cred lands with some strikes.
Gler can't escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Gler wants to hold on but Cred pushes him away.
Cred tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Gler working to try and regain half guard.
Gler is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Gler looks gassed!
Cred putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Cred fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Gler tries to improve his position but Cred has taken his back! Cred has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Gler tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Cred pushes Gler away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Street Cred!
