The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones tries to land a front kick but Est steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Est, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Est against the cage but Est circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Est closes the distance and pushes Jones back into the cage.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jones is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Ray Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Est gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Ray Ray Jones has been cut.
Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Est pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jones wants to get back to striking at distance but Est won't allow it.
Est lands an elbow just above Jones 's eye.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Est.

Jones tries to pull guard but Est holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.

Est creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jones's defenses.
