PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rory Flannagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griffin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Feel Good Inc kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Griffin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Flannagan swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Griffin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Flannagan circles away quickly and effectively.
Flannagan tries to bum rush Griffin with a series of wild strikes but Griffin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Griffin stalks Flannagan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Flannagan's face. Flannagan staggers backwards, shaken.
Griffin throws a push kick but Flannagan slaps the foot to one side.

Griffin lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Flannagan drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Griffin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Griffin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Flannagan has him pressed against the cage.

Flannagan lands a left and a right that send Griffin crashing to the mat, dazed. Flannagan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Flannagan pushes Griffin against the cage. Flannagan is working some dirty boxing. Flannagan pushes off with a quick right hook! Griffin goes down! Griffin tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Flannagan moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
